CompressIt is provided free of charge to help users reduce PDF file sizes directly inside their web browsers.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Although we aim to provide a reliable experience, we cannot guarantee that every PDF will compress successfully or that the service will always be uninterrupted.
Compression rebuilds PDF pages as images. This may affect image quality and may remove selectable text, hyperlinks, forms, bookmarks, accessibility tags and other interactive features.
Always retain your original document and inspect the compressed version carefully before sharing it, submitting it or relying on it.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any document used with CompressIt. Do not use the service for unlawful material or in a way that violates another person's rights.
Because PDF processing happens locally in your browser, CompressIt does not receive, review or store the contents of your documents.
